Project 3: Functions of tubulin polyglutamylation in the mammalian mitotic spindle

Jijumon A.S. is a biologist, mostly trained in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology and Protein Biochemistry. His broader research interests are cytoskeleton and proteomics. After completing his Master's degree in Biological Sciences at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research-Kolkata(IISER-K) in June 2015, heworked in the Biological Research Centre, Hungarian Academy of Sciences as an ITC fellow. There he did a one-year training course on contemporary experimental biology and state-ofthe art techniques, together with a project in sarcomeric actin regulation. For the DivIDE MSCA-ITN, he will work as a doctoral research student in Janke's lab at Institute Curie with the cosupervision of Dr. Müeller-Reichert.
