Alejandra studied Biotechnology at the University of Salamanca and since she was
interested in interdisciplinary research, moved to TU in Dresden to study the Master in
Nanobiophysics. During her master thesis, worked on the study of
the stability of Taxol-stabilized microtubules used for in vitro nanoapplications in the group
of Prof. Diez (Molecular Transport in Cell Biology and Nanotechnology, B CUBE). In her
PhD, she will focus on the regulation of K-fiber microtubule minus-end dynamics during
mitosis in the group of Dr. Isabelle Vernos at CRG (Barcelona). Besides science, she likes
traveling, music and spending time with my friends.
